| February 4 | Bachelor Auction held at Florence Filberg Centre, Courtenay |
| February 21 and February 28 | Group water safety sessions held at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre |
| March 6 | Dragon boat practices start. First 3 practices are Saturdays, March 6, 13th and 20th (8:00 to 9:00 am). First evening practice starts Tuesday, March 23rd. Practices are 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of September |
| April 30 | Deadline for receiving Anne Gibbon Memorial (Hope Afloat) bursary applications. |
| June 5 | Courtenay Fish & Game Outdoor Show: dragon boat demonstration races held at Comox Lake in Cumberland. |
| June 13 | Sproat Lake Women’s Regatta held at Sproat Lake Provincial Park, Port Alberni |
| June 19 | Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life – Vanier Track, Courtenay (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) |
| July 2, 3, 4 | Whistler Dragon Boat Festival (Water’s Edge) |
| July 16 | Courtenay’s Downtown Market Days Hope Afloat hosts the popular dunk tank and bouncerama |
| July 25 | Women’s Island Classic festival at the Gorge in Victoria. |
| August 1 | Victor Simonson Nautical Days Regatta held at the Comox Harbour, Comox |
| August 28 | Women’s Cup Festival, Nanaimo |
| September 10, 11, 12 | Hope Afloat team members volunteer for the Dance de Rock (raising money to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer – through Tour de Rock / Cops for Cancer) held at Florence Filberg Centre in Courtenay. |
| October (TBA) | Annual General Meeting and election of officers for next year |
| October 9 | Annual Tag Day for Breast Cancer Awareness held at various business locations in the Comox Valley. |
